Some graffiti and stickers seem to exist just for their aesthetic value, while other street art represents certain ‘societal ideas’.
One of the more remarkable logo’s in this latter genre are the creations of an artist called Ebenholz, who founded the ‘Spread Love Project’. The idea behind it is to proliferate “love, sympathy, charity and courage” (video).
Ebenholz cooperates with artists such as Tona, Idle, Mesh, Kwad, Bloem and Photocoyote.
Many of the stickers, that feature Charlie Chaplin, Ghandi and other famous persons, are easily detected in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.
In these times of war, ethnic hatred and religious strife, there is lots to do for him and his (or her) associates.
