Feminist street art: graffiti, stickers & posters

Violence against women is one of the central problems of mankind.
In some regions it appears to be on the rise, which is worrying to girls, women and of course men who agree with human rights.
Sexual violence and other atrocities against women are as old as mankind – probably even older – but thankfully these horrors seem less accepted nowadays.
Not only regular media increasingly pay attention to this phenomenon, ‘street artists’ as well. Some of them appear to be women themselves, such as the mysterious ‘LN‘.
In Amsterdam – the capital of Holland – I discovered many stickers, posters and some graffiti with a clear feminist point of view.
Let’s hope they have the desired effect …
