Poliziek

Turkije: ‘zoen-protest’ tegen geitenknuffelaar Erdogan

  1. The Ottoman Empire will rise again! We ruled for over 600 years until the West ruined the Empire. This time we will not fall!

  2. Erdogan says: “it’s over, it’s blown over, suggested nothing.”

The arrogance of power – not even Erdogan, but of the world-Caliphate that are using it: the Arab-Islamic world-conquest by the Muslim Brotherhood, via the Taqiyya-list of user UN-penalizing or diffamation of religion.
The only message that emits is: resistance is futile.
The Red Book is a Golden Book.

Erdogan is fixated on bulldoze it away from the park. Initially, the focus was on the arrival of yet another shopping center in Istanbul. He dropped that plan, but the beautiful trees of the Gezi park must at any price for him to believe. To make way for a postmodern interpretation of the ugly barracks here ever defiled the square.
Why the obsession with the rebuilding of the barracks? Past week went the rumor that Erdogan’s son-in-law Berat Albayrak had dragged the contract for this building project. That would explain the AKP is not something strange, nepotism. But to be adopted now, is there anyway no contract signed yet.
It seems contradictory that Erdogan themselves hard makes for rebuilding of a military complex of buildings. The current political establishment in Turkey has little to with the armed forces. Hundreds of soldiers in Turkish prisons bear witness to this.
Military objects and areas also often get a new post. A military site in the Kagithane district, for example, was transformed into the park when it was already in the nineteenth century.
However, at Taksim Square is the rebuilding of a military object from the Ottoman period and that changes the case. In addition, the barracks played a role in a coup that the Ottoman Empire in his religious had to revive glory. Thereby connects ‘ sultan ‘ Erdogan an emotional meaning to the resurrection.
In July 1908 young soldiers and intellectuals called the revolution in the Ottoman Empire. The ‘ young Turks ‘ leaving the Sultanate, but established a Constitution. Sultan Abdülhamit II (where Erdogan many believe nowadays to mirrors) made all in 1877 ended the previous Constitution (1876) and then prevailed as an absolute dictator.
After the revolution of 1908, however, there was no escape for him. He had to accept a Constitution not only, but also allow the reform-minded Committee of Union and progress (ITC) his power largely took over.
The secular ITC was a nightmare for religious fundamentalists as Dervis Vahdeti, a Sheikh from the Naksibendi-movement (a Sufi flow where Erdogan later got contact). On 13 april 1909 Vahdeti led a counter-revolution, which began with a military uprising in barracks on Taksim Square.
Along with religious students pulled the soldiers to the old city of Istanbul. In order to submit their demands to the Government, including power recovery for Abdülhamit and securing the sharia, the Islamic law.
The limited power to Istanbul before long could still carry out a pogrom against the fundamentalists revolutionaries in Istanbul, but then made by train troops quickly ended the Ottoman swan song. The rebels were persecuted and exiled Abdülhamit.
